Its hard to find those famous designers whose interviews and philosophy I can strongly connect to. I have no idea this song (above.. with a not too lovely thumbnail) that Ive always heard in the clubs, is composed and produced by the 2 European brothers who are the creator of my firm for internship.
If everything goes well with the visa process, this will be my home in the next 2 months in Beijing. What can be more perfect than the concrete floor, open space, and a focal point of rainbow fiber glass panel? Ive canceled offers from Spain, UK, LA and the top giant to be here so definitely fingers cross for the road ahead of me and many new experiences to come :)

If I have enough money, I would like to collect arts and paintings for my home.
War ends leaving behind immendable scars and sufferings to the people who survive from it. I was too young back then to understand my grandparents’ roles during the American-Vietnamese war, how brave they were, and how much they starved themselves to save every penny for my whole great family to survive after the war was ended.
Sometimes knowing your ancestors’ origin and lifetime does amazing things to your perspectives and knowledge. Most people forget or too busy to care about history. I consider family background is a gift to value and cherish.
My grandma left me when I was 3 and my grandpa left me when I was too vulnerable to feel the sadness rather than being scared. There are moments I would like to sincerely apologize and pray, not to God, but to my grandparents and my relatives who have sacrificed for my current family to live a fulfill life.
I dont believe in superstition or religions, but having faith in your ancestors and doing good deeds return great favors to your life and your soul.
Vietnam, a country that most of the time reminds foreigners of unstoppable wars and pho, a country that falls behind economically and lacks so much potentials to be rapidly developed like other Asian countries, had once won all the glorious wars with great patriotic individuals. And I am thankful for everything I have received; for my parents who despite the fact of being born in a very traditional family at the toughest time of the country, can still open up their mind to become unbelievably liberal; for my awesome sister who basically is everything that I have become; for the life I am having and and all the people who have supported me along the way.

Who would have expected such a serious post on tumblr. Im afraid of my poor brain cant remember such important moments of epiphany like this, so I gotta record everything down on my poor laptop & blog lol. Now off to bed because tomorrow will be a great day ahead :)

Im turning 21 in a few months. The fact that geniuses (or lets say successful talents) usually discover their gifts in such a young age disappoints me because unfortunately this girl doesnt know what the hell she wants to do and what she’s good at until she turns 18.
I still have a long long long way to go with tons of learning, practicing, experiencing and self-improving.
